PaulMichael Gamlen is from the greater Seattle area of Washington State. His love for music and piano began at the early age of four. His mother, an accomplished pianist, was his piano teacher until he began accompanying choirs at the age of eleven. In high school, he found a new passion for swing and jazz as part of a swing choir and played the piano for the school stage band. He then followed a career path in music. Studying both church music and education, he served as a music minister in various churches for nearly 30 years. In addition, he taught private piano, K-12 music education in private schools, pianist for southern gospel quartets, appeared on a local television program playing and singing with family, and many other music and entertainment gigs. He also was the music director for 8 years at a large public high school, including vocals and conducting the orchestra. In 2016 he moved with his family to Springfield Missouri where, in the Branson area, played the keyboard and was a vocalist for a national/international Christian television network, along with a live show and other live events in the area. Other credits include two family Southern Gospel albums recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been married for over thirty-five years and together they have one daughter. His wife is an accomplished vocalist who has performed throughout the United States as well as overseas in Israel, Egypt, and Kenya. He and his wife have been singing together since they met.
